This time I bring you a recipe for traditional battered cauliflower , but giving it my special touch by adding white pepper. If you cook it this way, you can help the children (by removing the pepper) to eat you vegetables and not even notice. I have fried it, which is how I like it the most, but you can also make it baked or in sauce .

Cauliflower breaded with pepper: step by step
500 gr of cauliflower
200 gr of flour
1 teaspoon of chopped parsley
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon of white pepper
Oil for frying
If the cauliflower is very large, the parts in half and the one that you are not going to use, put it in a bag and freeze it for another time. The other you clean it correctly and cut it into small trees. After splitting it, you put it in a bowl and add a little salt.
And now we go with the trick, you are going to cook it in the microwave that you will see is much faster, clean and does not leave an odor, although if you prefer you can cook it with plenty of water for about 20 minutes.
Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap, put it in the microwave and put it on for 10 minutes at maximum power. When it is tender you take it out and let it cool.
While it is tempered, you prepare the batter. Beat the eggs with a little salt and mix the spices with the flour.
Pass the cauliflower florets through the flour, one by one, and place them on a tray. When you have finished with all of them, do the same operation with the beaten egg.
Now you are going to fry them in a pan with plenty of hot oil. When the batter is golden, you take out the little trees and put them on a plate with absorbent paper to remove the excess oil.
Finally, I am going to tell you a family secret that my mother used to make. If you have leftover egg and flour, mix everything well and make some tortillas, like the one in the photo, in a little oil and fry them.
