What a surprise I bring you for this weekend. It is a cheesecake with only 3 ingredients that you are going to love as it is very soft and fluffy, come on, a true delight.
This Japanese cake or cake is the height of simplicity since as soon as you have the ingredients ready, it is made in a jiffy. The only thing that lengthens its preparation a bit is to bring the egg whites to the point of snow, but that is for us that we are the Arguiñano of the kitchen.
For this recipe you only need cream cheese, eggs and white chocolate. What do you not believe it? Well, I recommend that you keep reading because you will not believe that with so little you can reach such a surprising result.

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 125 gr of white chocolate
- 125 gr of cheese
Cheesecake with only 3 ingredients: step by step
1.- The first thing is to separate the whites from the yolks and put each thing in different bowls.
2.-Now place the chopped chocolate in a microwave-safe container and melt it for 2 minutes. You take it out of the microwave and stir it a little with a tab.
3.- Next, you add the cheese and mix it. As soon as you have all the ingredients mixed, you add the yolks and mix again. You should have a yellowish orange-like paste.
4.- Let’s go with the meringue. With a wire mixer or a fork you have to whip the egg whites until they become meringue. You will see that it is ready when you turn the bowl over and it does not fall.
5.- Now you add the meringue little by little to the mixture of eggs and cheese. You stir with enveloping movements from the bottom up so that the meringue does not lose air and does not fall.
Final preparation
5.-Once done, put the mixture in a 16 cm diameter container lined with greaseproof paper so that it does not stick. The mold cannot be removable since we are going to cook it in a water bath.
6.- You place it on a baking tray with a finger of hot water. Cook for 15 minutes at 170º C, then lower the temperature to 160º C and leave it for 15 more minutes. You turn off the oven and let the cake rest for 1/4 of an hour in the oven.
7.- Finally, let it cool completely, remove it from the mold and you can leave it as is, although I advise you to decorate it with jam or icing sugar .
My tips and tricks
- Another way to separate the whites from the yolks is to put an egg on a plate and remove the yolk with a spoon and that’s it.
- You can melt the chocolate in a bain-marie. Put a saucepan with a little water in the bottom and place a bowl with the chopped chocolate on top, turning with a tab as soon as it begins to melt.
- If you want a bigger cake, you just have to add for each egg that you put more than 40 grams of each ingredient.
