The chocolate nougat with almonds is very easy to prepare and “pa” I’m going to tell you how it is, it has a really delicious flavor. And not only that, it is made in the blink of an eye since you have practically nothing else to do than melt the chocolate, mix it with the other ingredients and little else.

This one in particular is one of those that always ends up flying in my house, and I am not surprised, because the mixture of almonds with the creamy and sweet chocolate is something that is very difficult to forget.
This year I have encouraged myself again to make homemade nougat to enjoy it with family and friends at the wonderful Christmas dinners. The truth is that I had never prepared this one, but what if I can assure you, since I have tried it I do not feel like buying the ones they sell in supermarkets and I always plan to do it at home.

200 gr of chocolate fondant
150 gr of milk chocolate
100 gr of raw almonds (better if they are marconas)
50 grams of butter
50 g of icing sugar
Chocolate nougatwith almonds: step by step
1.- You start by putting a saucepan on the fire with two glasses of water. Then you place a glass or metal bowl on top that is wider than the pot and add the chopped chocolate inside. Let it warm up and melt slowly over a low heat, stirring from time to time.
2.-As soon as it is melted, add the butter, the sugar and stir until everything is well mixed.
3.- You turn off the heat, add the almonds and stir again to spread them all over the chocolate.
4.- Next, you line a mold with parchment paper, pour the mixture on top and distribute it evenly over the entire surface of the mold. You tap it to remove any air bubbles it may have.
5.- Let the nougat cool down to room temperature. As soon as it is cold, you put it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
6.- Finally, you take it out of the fridge and carefully unmold it.
My tips and tricks for agreat chocolate nougat with almonds
If you can’t find a suitable mold, you can use a brik cut in half.
You can also add hazelnuts, blueberries, candied orange, walnuts …
To keep it in perfect condition, you wrap it in aluminum foil and store it in a dark and cool place.
