What about the recipe that I bring you for this weekend? A favorite of almost everyone: Foster-style potatoes with cheese and bacon . The truth is that they are addicted, they are very easy and fast to prepare.
My family is to blame for this. Every time we go to Foster’s Hollywood they tell me that, because I don’t do it, I’m sure they are richer and cost much less money than there. The truth is that they were right, they are much cheaper and are better.
One day I said to myself why not try and publish them in a post? So here you have me bundled up with these great Bacon Cheese Potatoes . I must admit that it is increasingly difficult for me to spend money on going out to dinner when I can cook them at home knowing that they are much more affordable, of higher quality and I guarantee that they are identical to those on the street.
The only secret that these Foster potatoes have is in their ranch sauce that as you may have already guessed I am going to reveal it to you throughout the recipe. What, do you dare to prepare this dish for the weekend dinner and surprise everyone? I assure you that when I prepared them it was a success in my house.

Foster Style Potatoes Recipe
Let’s start with the sauce. If the mayonnaise is very thick, add a little milk to reduce it and make it more fluid so that you can mix it better when combining it with the other ingredients of the sauce.
Put the cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, all the spices and a little salt in a bowl. Beat until you see that all the ingredients are mixed.
Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and put it in the fridge while we prepare the potatoes.
Sauté in a frying pan, without oil, the bacon in strips for a minute (it does not need to be well done, it will finish cooking in the oven)
Cut the potatoes into 1 cm thick sticks, as I show you in the photo above.
Fry them in plenty of hot oil. Remove them from the pan when done and place them on a plate lined with absorbent paper.
Put them in a suitable baking dish and add a little salt.
Then top with the ranchero sauce, the bacon and cover everything with the grated cheese
Preheat the oven to 200ºC. Bake under the grill for 3 minutes until the cheese is melted, but not too brown so that the potatoes do not harden or burn.
You’ll see what kisses and hugs they will give you when they see you with these potatoes.
