Ingredients:
- 1kg of potatoes
- 1 head of garlic
- 1 tablespoon of oregano
- 1 tablespoon of sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 glass of white wine
- 1 glass of water
- 1/2 glass of vinegar
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt
Garlic potatoes: step by step
The first of all is to peel, wash and cut the potatoes in a baker with a thickness of half a centimeter and all equally.
You put them in a pan with the hot oil. Lower the heat so that they fry slowly, in this way they are done inside without getting brown.
Peel and cut the garlic and put them in a mortar to crush them. Then you add the cumin, oregano, salt and paprika and mash it all together.
When you have it done, add the vinegar and white wine and stir it well.
Once the mash is bound, you add it to the potatoes.
Pour the water into the mortar and stir it well. Pour it into the pan.
Mix it all together and cook it over medium heat until the sauce is blended and the potatoes are like lumpy.
