Choose the chestnuts that are healthier and have no damage, wash them well and dry them with a kitchen towel. Practice a cut along both sides, you can also make a cross.
Preheat the oven to 200ºC. Place the chestnuts in a single layer on the baking sheet and moisten them with a little water.
Put the tray at half height and bake for about 20 minutes. After this time prick them to check that they are tender.
