Minced meat is a product that gives a lot of play in the kitchen, you can prepare some delicious cheeseburgers or some great ones meatballs in Spanish sauce. Although if what you want is to get out of the routine a bit and be more original, I recommend that you do this minced meat roll.
In my house my mother used to make it at Christmas because we all like it with passion, she filled it with hard-boiled egg and some piquillo peppers. I have only changed the ingredients a bit but the recipe is just as she made it, so imagine how it is. And to follow the good traditions, this year it will not be missing from our Christmas menu.

Stuffed meat roll: step by step
1.- The first thing is to put the minced meat, eggs, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic, a little salt and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until you see that all the ingredients have been integrated.
2.- Then you put the dough on a tray lined with baking paper and spread it over the entire surface until you get a rectangle. As soon as it is, you take it out of the tray and with the help of a roller you finish widening it. You have to get a sheet that is the same thickness on all sides.
3.- Now, place on top a layer of ham, another of cheese and finally a layer of poached onion.
4.- Roll up the narrowest part of the rectangle helping you with the paper. As you form the roll, you apply a little pressure. You finish the roll, compress a little more to shape it and seal the ends so the filling does not come out.
5.- Put another sheet of paper and place a base of bacon slices mounted slightly on top of each other. You put the roll on top, arrange a slice of bacon at each end and roll again with the help of the paper.
6.- Next you place the roll on a tray lined with baking paper.
7.- And finally, you put the tray in the oven preheated to 180ºC with heat up and down. You cook it for about 50 minutes until it is well done inside.
