Do you want an easy, fast and successful meal for this weekend? I imagine so, that’s why today I bring you a great tuna and vegetable cake that you will have prepared in a plis plas and for two hard. We are a healthy and balanced gem.
To make this recipe you will only need zucchini , eggs , tomato and tuna and you can cook it both in the oven and in the microwave. And the best of all is that you can take it both hot and cold as it will be just as good.
In addition , this tuna cake is very helpful because if you have guests suddenly and you want to surprise them, you only need to have this post and the ingredients at hand and nothing else. You will see, as soon as they see this sweetie on the table they will be all praise.

2 ripe tomatoes
2 or 3 eggs L
2 cans of natural tuna
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Grated mozzarella cheese to taste
Tuna and vegetable cake: step by step
1.- The first thing is to preheat the oven to 200ºC with heat up and down.
1.- While you wash the zucchini and tomatoes very well since they are not going to peel. Then cut the zucchini into 1/2 cm thick slices and the tomato into small cubes.
2.- Next, smear the tray with oil on all sides so that the cake does not stick.
3.- Place a layer of superimposed zucchini slices and add a little salt, freshly ground pepper and garlic. Cover with half of the chopped tomato, spread it well and add a little salt and oregano.
4.- Spread a can of tuna on top, a little cheese and sprinkle with a beaten egg.
5.- Repeat the same operation, a layer of zucchini with its salt, pepper and garlic, another of tomato with salt and oregano, another of tuna and the egg.
6.- Now you cover it with a generous layer of cheese. Do not be shy because this ingredient will give it a lot of creaminess.
7.- Cover it with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes in medium position. When the time has elapsed, remove the paper and gratin for 5 minutes until the cheese melts and has reached a nice golden color.
8.- Finally, you take it out of the oven and let it warm to room temperature before serving.
My tips and tricks
You can put it as an aperitif by cutting it and placing it on slices of toast.
If you don’t feel like starting the tomato, you can substitute it for the canned crush.
The tuna can be both natural and in oil.
And if you are on a diet you can remove the cheese or replace it with a light one.
Do not tell me that you do not want to eat yourself up to the plate
