Since I moved near a Costco I couldn’t be more happy: I can always buy what I need to procrastinate when I don’t want to cook, or to have my cupboard full of delicious things because, hey! Eating is an act of love with yourself, and it is better to love yourself with a delicious snack.

The Costco in my city has a great variety of secrets that I have been discovering overtime and, as I am not selfish, I have already shared them before. Go and read to discover those articles that you not take a look at if you don’t get a recommendation from a Costco expert like (trust me, I’m an engineer).

The beautiful mess of Thanksgiving dinner

Thanksgiving is one of the most beautiful things America has. I can’t remember a single dinner where we didn’t end up drinking some eggnog after a gigantic turkey stuffed with all sorts of delicious things. And how about a comforting green tea to end the night, while we mentally prepare for the winter cold that autumn predicts?

Are you a prepper or a late buyer? Sincerely, I recommend you to prepare in advance for Thanksgiving dinner. Yeah, ok, sometimes there is some last-minute ingredient that you may have to buy the same day, but you better avoid it. To save you from unnecessary trips to the store, I’m going to tell you: Costco is not opening for Thanksgiving 2022, which will be celebrated on November 24th.

That’s why you have to get a lot ahead from other customers by making a list of all the ingredients and products you need, and buying them with plenty of time in advance.

A good turkey with Grandma Mary’s gravy recipe, and Aunt Angie’s stuffing will undoubtedly be the star, but, if this year grandma is in Playa del Carmen running away from the cold, I recommend my favorite powdered gravy that everyone will praise.

I can not really help you with prepared stuffing, but take a look at their seasoning’s section, and get creative. I’m sure you will be ok.

Now, if you want to avoid all the chaos in your kitchen (God, please, no!), and save yourself from cooking, you can directly buy the 8 to 10 people dinner from Rastelli’s, sold by Costco, which includes: roasted turkey breast, gourmet side dishes and pies. It’s easy to prepare: heat, slice, serve, and have more time to hug grandma. Find out here about the best items at Costco for a Thanksgiving in a budget
