Floating candles:
Floating candles are now very popular and ideal for summer nights on our terraces , being very decorative in the chill-outs providing warmth and sophistication. They are gel and perfumed, but I would prefer the scent of the lady at night or jasmine to put them in open places. We can also use them to place them in an event and decorate the table while we eat or have dinner, and thus we will give our table a touch of glamor making it unique; I like to put a perfume that is very light so that we do not mask the aroma of the food.
Materials :
- Paraffin for candles.
- 100 grams of wax in crystals.
- Candle dye.
- Essential oil for candles.
- Vaseline, we can buy it liquid.
- Wick for candles.
- Candle molds (stars, hearts, round, flower, etc.).
The first thing we have to do is protect ourselves properly, then we will put the wax in crystals and the paraffin in the container that we have used previously for this type of craft, and we will begin to melt them in a water bath, we can also do it in the microwave into a container suitable for this appliance .
We will gradually add the coloring and the essences that we have chosen, making it mix properly so that our candle is very original both for its color, its aroma and its shape.
Finally we will rub all the corners of the molds with the petroleum jelly, we will pour the mixture made previously, we will wait for it to cool down a little and we will put the pieces of wick in the center of each of the chosen molds, we will let it dry, about 5 hours as indicated above , we will unmold very carefully so as not to damage any of our candles and… We have them ready to use !!

With petals and essence of roses :
These are my favorite candles gel candles with aroma and rose petals , it is a truly beautiful craft that raises admiration to the people who have given them or when I have used at home for an important event or for a dinner with friends , they all end up asking me to give them one! This flower is one of my favorites, especially the red ones and the pale pink ones.

Materials :
- Wick for candles.
- Gel paraffin.
- A packet of rose petals or our favorite roses.
- Glass container.
- Rose essence for candles.
We will start by melting the paraffin as we have indicated previously. When it is completely melted, we will add the essence of roses for candles, moving so that it mixes evenly.
We will pour the previous mixture into the chosen glass container and we will gradually incorporate the petals or the entire flower , ensuring that the wick always remains in the middle of it.
If the wick has been a bit long, we can cut it, let it cool for the regulation 5 hours and we already have our wonderful candle.
