The house where Antonio Banderas and his partner, financial advisor Nicole Kimpel, used to live in England was recently sold for 3.5 million euros. It is a prefabricated house with all the comforts located in Surrey, one of the most representative counties of the beautiful English countryside and located 30 kilometers from London.
It was designed and built by Huf Haus, one of the most prestigious housing sales companies on the planet. Nicknamed the Beverly Hills of England, it has been named the best home to live in the UK on multiple occasions.
Antonio Banderas’ luxury prefabricated house
The very popular actor from Malaga enjoyed for a good period a fantastic three-story house of more than 500 square meters each. It has five rooms in total: all with white walls and stone floors painted in cream tones, which offers a pleasant contrast with the house’s completely black beams. The furniture the couple chose during their stay in this home was very striking in tone to compensate for the lack of color.
We are talking about an eco-efficient prefabricated house, installed on a plot surrounded by trees that guarantee the tenants’ privacy. The interior design is quite minimalist, so much so that most of the protagonism is monopolized by the almost endless windows. The house consists of the following rooms:
Facade
The first thing you see when you arrive at the former home of Antonio Banderas and Nicole Kimpel is a spectacular glass façade built with sustainable materials. You can see everything that is going on inside easily from the outside, but only if you get close enough, as you must not forget that you have to cross a large barrier of trees to do so.
Outside, the couple also enjoyed a medium-sized swimming pool with an outdoor chill-out area covered by an awning. The whole house is surrounded by pure nature, so they had to spend some pleasant moments outside.
Living room
As the house is minimalist in style, it does not have too much furniture, even though it is the main room. The colors are neutral, and the spaces are quite uncluttered, although the elegant sofas are upholstered in the dark blue.
Library
The actor is passionate about reading and culture, so it is not surprising that he had a space exclusively designed for quiet reading. The design of the bookshelf is very modern, and the reading chair is quite comfortable.
Kitchen room
It is an incredibly open space for a kitchen. The presence of wood on the stools, on the table, and even on the surface of the extractor hood gives it a fine and elegant touch.
Bedroom
It is also surrounded by glass and has no curtains or blinds. This means that the couple would be easily awakened by sunlight. It is located at the top of the house, and therefore the roof is sloped.
Bath
A shower, a bathtub, a sink and a decorative plant. The bathroom of the house has no more than that. Like the rest of the house, the glass takes center stage, making it a space with lots of light.
The reason for the sale of the house
Antonio Banderas decided to sell his property in England to return to his homeland, Malaga. The actor was eager to return to the city where he grew up to recover his roots, after spending most of his life abroad. As soon as he arrived in Andalusia, on Palm Sunday, he participated in a procession organized by a brotherhood whose headquarters is located in the church of San Juan, where he is a steward. Banderas has found himself again.
