In this article I explain how to recycle a torn jeans and use another cushion that you have around the house hanging around and do not know what to do with it, and turn it into an original and practical multipurpose cushion for the controls .
Materials:
- Sewing machine.
- Black thread or jean thread.
- Tape measure.
- Used cushion or cushion filling.
- Used jeans.
- Pair of scissors.
We start with the multipurpose cushion
The first thing is to find out the measurements we want for our cushion.
Transfer the measurements to the jeans , always giving a margin for the seams and cut the legs.
Cut at the crotch seam to leave the pants open.
With the scissors , cut the peak that makes the crotch, both at the front and at the back of the pants so that it is flat.
Flip the pants over to sew where you cut previously, then put them on the right side and sew at the bottom to finish off the quadrant of the cushion .
Now fill in the quadrant with the cushion you have chosen , pushing well to the bottom so that it allows you to sew the waistband, this seam do it slowly because being very thick the fabric can break many needles.
When you have finished sewing, move the cushion so that the filling occupies all the spaces of the quadrant.
