New Mexico’s 2021 Stimulus Check
The authorities highlight that these green-lighted rebates have links to income tax. Joint filers, household heads, and widowed partners could get a maximum of $1,000. On the other hand, individual filers or those married but filing separately are eligible for $500. Automatic rebates will be sent to New Mexicans who completed their 2021 Personal Income Tax (PIT) submission and aren’t listed as dependents on someone else’s tax form.
The New Mexico tax department assures that those who’ve already submitted their tax forms need not take extra steps to get their rebate. The initial rebate checks were issued at the start of the year, and direct bank transfers started in June.

Thousands of Californians are in for a surprise this month, as they find a debit card in their mailbox, loaded with hundreds of dollars. This unexpected windfall is not a scam or a prize, but, rather the Middle Class Tax Refund, which is arriving a bit later than originally planned.
The Middle Class Tax Refund, often referred to as an “inflation relief” payment, began distribution to millions of eligible taxpayers nearly a year ago. Most eligible recipients have already received their funds via direct deposit or a debit card.
However, approximately 5,000 payments that were initially delayed are still in the process of being sent out, with the completion expected by the end of September 2023, according to the Franchise Tax Board.
If you are among those who have not yet received their California Middle Class Tax refund, there are two methods to anticipate its arrival. The California Tax Board (FTB) has announced that these outstanding payments will be completed no later than the end of September and during the first week of October 2023.
