This ingeniously designed piece of Ikea furniture combines functionality and style seamlessly. The STARKVIND boasts a clever airflow intake system, with a slight gap thoughtfully crafted between the table’s top and body. This ensures optimal air circulation, giving you a breath of fresh air in every sense of the phrase. And speaking of senses, you have two beautiful color options to choose from: the classic Stained oak veneer or the chic white (with a touch of beige) veneer, both exuding an aura of sophistication.
How to use the IKEA STARKVIND air purifier-table
The fully assembled STARKVIND, is 22 inches (0.56 m). Its sleek 21-inch diameter allows it to fit seamlessly into any space without being obtrusive. To put it to work, what you have to do is place your STARKVIND upside down, so that you can screw the legs with the Allen screws (the key is included). There, you can turn the table over and adjust the adaptable height of the legs, in case the floor is uneven. Then, insert the power cord to plug in the adapter and connect the latter to the table. One of the legs has a special slot to hide the cable.
Then, you have to install the gas filter that is included. It is easy to take it out of its wrapping and put it in the part that will be hidden under the table surface. Then, you are going to place the particle filter and, finally, the pre-filter grid. Then, open the three latches that are going to hold the table top, and then push those latches that will keep it in place.
On the front of the STARKVIND, you’ll spot a user-friendly button and dial that put the power of control right at your fingertips. With a simple click you can activate the purifier to work in automatic mode, move it to different levels of purification strength and more. In addition, it has an alarm that indicates when the filter should be cleaned or changed.
Both a table and an air purifier: Ikea has done it again with a smart device
The STARKVIND air purifier can be purchased on its own, without the table, to place as a decorative object for $179, and is a top seller on the Ikea US website currently. Furthermore, the table version can be purchased for $249 in either of its two colors (stained oak veneer/dark and the stained oak veneer/white). The air purifier is smart, which means it could be connected to DIRIGERA hub for full control via IKEA Home smart app.
