The planet, the animals, and health need our help to move forward. As a result, more and more people are switching to a sustainable plant-based diet, i.e., stopping or eliminating the consumption of meat of animal origin. Surely you have noticed that in the aisles of supermarkets in shopping malls there are more and more products of vegetable origin.

Best of all, these new plant-based products do not have anything to envy those of animal origin; the products, neither in taste nor in texture, are very well achieved, so you can continue to delight your palate while saving the life of an animal. One grocery store that carries many plant-based products, and even has its brand is Lidl. But the German supermarket wanted to go a step further and expand its range of vegetable products and, therefore, just announced, a few hours ago, that Heura arrived at the shelves of Lidl.

You are late if you haven’t tried Heura’s vegetable meat yet. You don’t have to want to stop eating animal meat to try Hera’s vegetable products, but we can assure you that, as soon as you take a bite, even a tiny one, you will fall in love with their flavors and you will switch to the Heura team without thinking about it. They have a wide variety of products of vegetable origin such as Heura bites, nuggets, sausages, hamburgers, choriburgers, sausages, and their recent addition, minced vegetable meat to make delicious bolognese.

And don’t think that Heura has been on the market for a long time, only since 2019, but even though they are only a few years old, their success is brutal, so much so that they keep expanding to more countries. Honestly, of all the vegetable products we have tried, Heura’s takes the first prize. The only drawback we saw is that if you live in a small town, it is very difficult to find their products as they are still expanding and trying to expand their distribution centers until now.

A few weeks ago, from Hera’s own Instagram profile, they told us in a post that they were going to experiment and that they were going to try to market their plant-based products in several Lidl supermarkets in Spain to see if people would buy it or not. Obviously, and as expected, we all got excited and dreamed about the idea that Heura would end up being installed in Lidl supermarkets, which would make it much easier for us to buy and consume.

Said and done. It has been such a success that just yesterday, again from Hera’s Instagram profile, they communicated that the experiment in Lidl went super well and that they are staying. So we are in luck because we can now buy our favorite Heura products in the Lidl we have in our neighborhood. Of course, now we will watch how these Heura products coexist with those of Vemondo, Lidl’s vegetable brand; what will happen here? We will keep you posted!
