When it comes to Air Jordan Hybrid models, the sneakers community seems to be divided into two groups: those who love them and those who hate them. It’s an ongoing debate that never seems to end. Recently, somebody inside Nike said ‘Let’s add some wood to the fire’ and launched these new Jordan Brand shoes. The new version of the MVP 678 in black and royal, and you can bet it’s going to stir up a whole lot of emotions from both sides. Are you up for to participate in the conflict? Well, here’s all you need to know.

These sneakers are a creative mash-up of iconic Air Jordan designs worn by none other than Michael Jordan himself during his championship reign. And while they might look like an Air Jordan 6 from afar, they actually draw inspiration from both the Air Jordan 7 and 8. The midfoot and toe box design is reminiscent of the AJ7, while the multicolored pattern on the heel comes from the AJ8. You can even see a pattern of the AJ7 under the black translucent tongue, and the sneaker is completed with the classic NIKE AIR on the heel. For any true fan of MJ, the Jordan MVP “Black Royal” is a must-have sneaker that incorporates all of his greatest designs into one modern shoe.

The Jordan MVP “Black Royal” Sneakers Will Be in the Discussion

Whether you’re a fan of hybrid sneakers or not, there’s no denying the creativity and ingenuity behind the Jordan MVP 678. Nike’s Jordan Brand took inspiration from multiple Air Jordan designs and brought them together to create something new and unique. The result is a sneaker that pays homage to Michael Jordan’s legendary career and serves as a reminder of why he’s considered one of the greatest athletes of all time.

If you look at them from the side, you will easily recognize the classic shape of the Jordan. There is no sneaker in the world that looks like it, and I think we all agree on that. But you will find out right away the new proposal and why it is so controversial. Instead of a pristine white, on the side of the sole there are some segments of a yellowish color, separated by a small zigzag black stripe of a rather light blue, as if it had been worn out by being exposed to the sun.

Well, This Is Intrepid, Nike

The body of the sneaker is a solid black in suede and there is an application in the three predominant colors (white, blue, and black) that simulates being painted by hand, as if they were brushes. Near the necklace, the classic Michael Jordan flying through the air with the basketball in the air is embroidered.

You will also see the Nike brand, the Air sub-brand and the Whoosh symbol on the back of the shoes. On the sole, continuing with that bold yellowish medium color, there are some areas in pointed curves and, in the center, MJ again in the blue color used throughout the shoe.
