From a very young age I have liked to always have my nails neat, (I have never liked to bite my nails). If you are wondering what my favorite color of enamel is, I don’t have one in particular that I like more than another, I can go from elegant reds, to light tones in summer or simply wear them painted with polish polish.
Taking well-groomed nails is important both for health reasons and also for aesthetics, this should be reason enough for you to always keep your nails healthy.
Remember something very important, we must also take care of our diet, because nails are a reflection of our health, they can indicate the lack of some vitamins in your body.

Step by step to paint your nails
With a cotton ball and nail polish remover, remove the lacquer from the nails. I advise you to choose one without acetone, as it weakens and dries them. Remove cuticles and hydrate them with olive oil , our “liquid gold”. It is also advisable to use almond oil.
Using a cotton swab smeared with petroleum jelly, run it around your nails. That way, when you remove the petroleum jelly after painting your nails, remove the excess of the polish and do not stain your skin.

Tip for nail filing
File straight nails that protrude a little, to prevent them from growing into the skin, so you can give it the shape you like best.
When you file them, make sure that the file is inclined upwards and slide it in the same direction always.

Do not forget to apply a layer of transparent polish, with this you get to strengthen the nails, and in this way it will not reach the cuticles when you paint them.

Follow one direction
When you paint your nails it is essential that you do it from the middle and continue vertically, following a single direction, in this way you will show off smooth and very well painted nails. Store the enamels in the refrigerator, thus extending their duration.
The next layers that you apply should be thin and wait for it to dry to continue with a new one.

My tips for wonderful hands and nails
One way to make your nails dry quickly is to use the hair dryer with cold air on them, it is the best for the polish to set.
Another quick-drying way when you’re done painting your nails, soak your hands in a bowl of water and ice cubes for 30 to 40 seconds. When you take your hands out of the water, let them air dry.
Exfoliate your hands as you do with your whole body. Once a week mix olive oil, lemon and sugar in a bowl and rub them with this mixture, then rinse your hands with warm water. Put on rubber gloves when you use detergents to clean the house or wash dishes .
You should get used to wearing sunscreen on your hands when you go out in the busiest hours. In winter, protect your hands and nails from inclement weather with gloves. Before going to bed, hydrate your hands very well very well with a cream that contains almond or olive oil in its composition.
