Christmas is coming and who of us has not spent much of their time decorating their home for the occasion. I remember how when I was little my parents and my grandparents have always instilled in us the Christmas tradition and how necessary and important it was to decorate our house for these holidays. The tree and the union of the family, dinner and sharing among all, the Magi and the illusion of gifts, the Nativity scene and the hope of a better world, the Christmas carols and the joy of the Christmas gift.

To create the necessary atmosphere and get off to a good start in Christmas , you have to start at the beginning. We dust off our tree and the figurines of the nativity scene, without forgetting the birth. Let’s look for a place that is comfortable and safe to be able to place them without interfering with the day-to-day life of the family or suffering any type of fall or breakage.
To decorate the entrance and corridors of our home we can use the garlands, wreaths and Christmas accessories . Remember that it is not convenient to recharge all the rooms of the home: that it does not look like an advertisement for a department store. A wreath outside the front door, some accessories hanging from the hallway ceiling, garlands adorning the bedroom doors, some balls and stars on the bathroom mirror and little else. Taking into account that your taste always depends.
The living room will become a really important stay in our Christmas as it will be the place where we spend the most time sharing the holidays with our family and friends. In addition to being the really advisable place to place the tree and the nativity scene, we must give vital importance to the living area and the dining room because it is where we will celebrate the most important moments of Christmas.

For this area we must dedicate our efforts to decorate it with all kinds of Christmas accessories: garlands, balls, dolls, stars, the Christmas that we have received from our friends, family, … Take advantage of the walls and the sofa for this purpose. Don’t forget to put some lights and silicone stickers on the window.
Our small table in the living room can be decorated with a wreath as the center and within it include some candles with Christmas Christmas motifs, accompanied by a snowman.
Remember that this area is the ideal area of the house to locate the tree and the nativity scene.
Table decoration …
One of the most important moments of Christmas are dinners and lunches in which we truly enjoy these holidays with our family and friends. To make the occasion really special you deserve a really special table. The decoration of our table has to be original, exclusive, cheerful, simple, emotional, … A few little tips to make your Christmas table unforgettable:
- The Tablecloth: It has to be Christmas motifs and of a not very light color so that the stains are not too noticeable.
- The crockery: elegant, simple, that does not take up too much, and if possible, also with Christmas motifs to match the tablecloths. The cutlery has to be manageable and not weigh too much. The napkin rings not very big and with Christmas motifs.
- In the middle of the table put some candles or a Christmas centerpiece. That they do not take up much space and that it does not obstruct the vision between the diners.
- The elegant glassware that is strong to withstand the blows and the toasts.
- It is important to properly position the diners so that everyone feels comfortable and dinner is really enjoyable. You can use small notes with the names and place them in a visible place next to each cutlery or plate.
