They have been recognized for <strong>reducing appetite and controlling weight, <\/strong>but have also gained notoriety for <strong>lowering triglycerides and <\/strong> <strong>optimizing blood sugar levels<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Harvard&#8217;s contraindications regarding chia<\/h2>\n<p>Despite the multiple medicinal attributes of chia seeds, Harvard experts have found in this food an important contraindication, which, after its clear revelation, has generated a lot of commotion.<\/p>\n<p>To learn exactly what generated this discovery, we will go all the way back to the case report that was presented in 2014 directly at the <strong>Annual Scientific Meeting of the American College of Gastroenterology <\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The paper gave details of one person who after eating from the chias and drinking a glass of water, the seeds quickly spread into organs such as the esophagus. Stir a little and cover it completely.<\/li>\n<li>Let the chias stand in the water for <strong>up to 20 minutes or <\/strong>until it acquires a gelatinous texture.<\/li>\n<li>Leave them in the refrigerator for a week.<\/li>\n<li>Add some of this food to your soups or smoothies, in order to maximize their nutritional value.
