In this post I explain how you can change the look of a piece of furniture simply by painting it, lining the drawers and changing the handles.
To make your furniture , you only need a bedside table that you want to update. The materials you need are: patterned adhesive paper, scissors, a fine or medium brush, pencil, ruler, satin black acrylic paint, and a ceramic puller.
Step by step to change the look of your furniture
- Apply the first coat of paint , let it dry for the time determined by the manufacturer and apply the second coat.
- Measure the bottom and sides of the drawer , then put those measurements on the back of the sticky paper and cut it out.
- Remove the paper protector at one corner, adhere it to the bottom, peel off the rest, fix and press with your hand.
- Remove the old handle using pliers without damaging the drawer.
- Put the new handle (porcelain in the image) by inserting it through the hole and tightening it with the screw.
- Click the bubbles that may have remained on the paper with a pin and enjoy your precious personalized piece of furniture!
