You may not know where the real Halloween party comes from and you think that the holiday has its origin in North America, its history is older, it begins about 3,000 years ago in the Celtic lands of Ireland. Do not stop reading and I will be able to explain to you where the tradition of the night of the dead and the Halloween party comes from.
The Halloween festival is of Celtic origin, it was celebrated at the end of the harvest season in Ireland, beginning the new year. It was also believed that that night the spirits of the deceased visited the living , that is why vegetables were emptied and candles were introduced to show them the way. Being this Halloween party transferred to the United States by Irish emigrants; in this way it has survived to this day.
Now it is common to decorate houses with pumpkins , bats , spiders , skeletons , etc. For this reason I bring you some templates to make some beautiful decorations for Halloween night , which are also very easy to do.
Materials
- Templates.
- Glue or silicone gun.
- Rope.
- Pair of scissors.
- Manual paper punch.
- post-it stickers.
Print the templates to cut them out. (On my PC I choose the option to print, then in properties, going to advanced options and I have chosen the option of only black ink and quick draft to avoid spending a lot of cartridge).
Cut out the bats and make folds in the wings to make them look like they are flying.
With the adhesive part of the post-its and the manual hole punch , make the eyes of the mucilages.
Cut out the white part of the pumpkins .
Glue the bats and pumpkins onto the string with the glue gun or glue .
You can also use adhesive paper from the post-it or cellophane and cut the adhesive part to stick it on the back of some templates and be able to place them on glass or walls , you can also use Blu-Tack or adhesive putty.
You already have your Halloween decoration finished.
I leave you a few templates so that you can decorate your house easily; We have used the tombstones in other years to put the names of our guests indicating their place at our Halloween dinner .
