Seasonal items are always a discovery, especially those that come back from previous seasons or the new ones that are new to your life. Every three months, Costco surprises me with their seasonal items, but as I’ve written before, fall is my favorite time of the year.

For you, my dear, I’ve prepared a list of seasonal items that you will find year’s end, not necessarily autumn-ish or winter-ish, but that will disappear when spring arrives. By then, I’ll prepare a new list of surprising stuff that will be a great companion when heat comes and the flowers bloom.

Rotisserie Chicken Noodle Soup

We all know the rotisserie chicken from Costco, which we have also talked about. But I hadn’t tried before the rotisserie chicken noodle soup, even though my sister told me that it comes back at least once a year (I can’t follow the speed of Costco’s deals!). It costs $3.49 per pound, and one container holds about four pounds of delicious chicken broth with egg noodles. I bought one, to try for the first time, and it cost me less than $14.

Dr. Pepper glass bottles

There is no need to clarify what Dr. Pepper represents for the United States of America: it is like an ambassador of the American culture as one of the beverages that marked the history of soft drinks, and whose flavor you can not get in any other product in the world. Now, the bottle version is nothing other than the classic Dr. Pepper but in vintage style, in bottles that are also recyclable! The box of 24 units is worth $24.99, just over $1.04 per bottle.

Costco Pumpkin Cheesecake

Little to add or explain when it comes to pumpkin-based foods. It is, par excellence, the mattress on which other flavors such as nutmeg, cinnamon or vanilla rest peacefully. This pleasant-tasting $17.99 cheesecake is like a hug for the soul, and you will love a slice with a cup of tea or coffee in the evening.

I’ve asked, and I’ve come to know it’s not available at every Costco nationwide, so it’s up to you to find out if your local Costco sells it.

Kirkland Signature Cheddar Broccoli Soup, sold only in Costco.

I’m including this soup following my girlfriend’s recommendation, who loved it more than me. But it still gets my thumbs up. Although it is not as cheesy as I would like, its taste is good, and it has a nice consistency: neither too liquid nor too thick.

A pack with two 28 oz (1.06 kg) soup containers each retails for less than $11, and in Canada it is also available for a similar price (in Canadian dollars, of course).

Phillips Crab Cake Minis, found in Costco

Phillips Crab Cake Minis

You will find this product in the frozen section of Costco, in the seafood area next to other products such as shrimp, salmon, or fish fillets.

Before you get excited, I warn you that this product is mostly present on the East Coast, so I buy them when I have to travel for work (because in my nearby Costco in Los Angeles I have not seen them). These mini crab cakes can be cooked in the air fryer, in a pan or in an oven, so you will have to try which cooking method gives you the texture you like the most.

Costco sells 36 units of Phillips Crab Cake Minis for $19.99 in some stores, and at $18.99 on the web.
