The food stamp program continues, month by month, sending the necessary money to all those people in economic need who have problems getting enough food to their families’ table. In the state of Texas, the SNAP benefits program is administered at the state level and is paid for in the first ten days of each month.
We are almost approaching the end of the payment window, and some beneficiaries are wondering why the food stamps deposits on their EBT cards have not arrived yet. Well, there are some groups of beneficiaries who will be receiving their money this week.

The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Texas plays a crucial role in providing support to those in need through the distribution of SNAP food benefits and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) cash help payments. These essential financial aids are conveniently administered via the Lone Star Card, a plastic card that functions much like a debit card.
Recipients can utilize the Lone Star Card to make purchases for vital items, ensuring a seamless and dignified process for accessing the assistance they require. This innovative approach enhances the efficiency and accessibility of support programs, offering a practical solution to those facing economic challenges in the state of Texas.
