The class action case involves Midwestern Pet Foods, Inc and Nunn Milling Company as the defendants. According to the allegations made by the plaintiffs, the defendants, Midwestern Pet Foods, Inc and Nunn Milling Company, are accused of marketing and selling pet food products that potentially contained contaminants.
The contamination in question involved dangerous levels of aflatoxin or Salmonella, both of which can pose significant health risks to pets, including severe illness, sickness, or even death. As a result of the settlement, the affected food products were subsequently recalled. It is important to note that the defendants have refuted the allegations presented in the lawsuit, and the court has yet to reach a decision on the matter, as stated on Midwestern’s settlement website.
