It is available in black and white, but she chose black because it is more neutral and more mimetic to her home decor. What Billie did was buy a custom cut piece of wood at her local timber shop, sand it down and paint it matte black.
The wood cost her a few dollars, and she opted – right off the start – for a piece that was already ready to install. But, she still decided to give it a quick sandpapering for it to have a softer feeling to the touch. Next, she just installed the wood on the top of the Ikea TRONES with silicone glue, so it would stay in place.
