Trader Joe’s has been collecting the most popular products among its customers for 14 years through its Customer Choice Awards survey. This year, the survey received more than 18,000 responses for the nine categories, but some winning products from previous years will not be present. The company withdrew five highly awarded products from the competition and replaced them with products such as soy chorizo, peanut butter-filled pretzel nuggets and tangerine orange chicken in its new Trader Joe Hall of Fame.

The overall winning product is the Chili & Lime Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips from Trader Joe’s. Made from stone-ground corn, these chips are cut, rolled and fried to achieve a crispy texture, and then topped with a spicy chili and lime seasoning. But, in the Household section, an unexpected product won by its favoritism from customers and by the great quality it delivers compared to others of the same kind. These are several seasonal scented candles from the cold time of the year, which only cost $3.99, consistent with TJ’s history of low prices on high-quality products.
The customers now look forward to hearing the winners every year. In the “Home, Bath & Beauty” section of the awards, the rotating line of seasonal scented candles has collectively taken the first place in this contest. You’ll see scents like Cedar Balsam, or Mango Tangerine, which are suitable for vegans because they don’t have animal products. They’re made out of natural soy wax base and cotton wicks.
The other seasonal essences that won the category are Honeycrisp Apple, Vanilla Pumpkin and Grapefruit. As we already know, it is Trader Joe’s policy to avoid all those ingredients that are potentially dangerous to health. That said, the candles do not contain parabens or any other potentially harmful business enterprise ingredients. Equally important are the runners-up that didn’t win, but were considered as another all-time favorites. They are: Daily Facial Sunscreen, Ultra-Moisturizing Hand Cream, Tea Tree Tingle Shampoo & Conditioner, Shea Butter & Coconut Oil Hair Mask.
